The days of the CRT TVs are over. LCD and LED TVs are the in thing now. There is also Plasma TV if you require brighter displays. But like their fat counterparts, the electronic components of these modern televisions are also susceptible to burn out and factory defects. If you have the bucks, you can just throw away your broken TV and shop for a new one.
