    This is so time consuming , just leave the tube on the can stick a nail in the tube usually if you use it within a month pull the nail out and it will work if you can’t pull the hardened materal out simply cut the tube back to the point about an in ch or so and it will so much more easy.

    I always have 5 round toothpicks handy. When I am done, I remove the tube and the nozzle. Set the can upright. Wet the end of the toothpick with water and stand it up in the top of the can. Wet the ends of the other toothpicks and place them in both end of straw and and both ends of the nozzle.
    No matter if you come back in a day or a year, the hardened foam will put right out with the toothpicks.
