A hydraulic jack had always been the necessary go-to equipment when it comes to handy tasks that require lifting and holding. Indeed, it’s almost impossible to even start repairing without a hydraulic jack to hold that thing up. But who would have thought you can use a mere piece of wood as a jack?
In this DIY, the principle in how a hydraulic jack works is applied. You won’t even need the help of somebody to hold the wood for you. The thing itself holds the header nicely in place and it springs back up neatly after you disattach it.
