Yes you can get some channels, just not anything good other than local networks. If you can live with that, great idea.

I am using an antenna with a digital reciever box and can watch 32 channels without any bills and have done this for the last 6 years. . . If I want to watch something that is NOT on Antenna TV , I use my laptop and watch it . . . . CHEAPER THAN CABLE ANY DAY

So why do TV companies put out wireless signals these days when everyone is using cable or a dish? Hardly anyone even knows you can get free signals through the air now.

Wireless signals? Isn’t that the same as using an antenna? Who hasn’t used an antenna, even on a boom box? What do people think that thing is up on the roof?

You know! (in all honesty) you can get less channels with HDTV, but it’s all still the same as cable. You may get more, but usually there is nothing on. It all depends on what your preferences are in watching!
