Notching tubes can be quite challenging, especially if you don’t have the right tools. However, the right tools are often expensive, and might not be worth the cost for people who do not frequently do tubing.
In this DIY video, Jim Harvey introduces a machine he did himself. Fancily called the Harbor Frieght Tubing Notcher, this tool is extremely useful for fabricators and DIY people who need an inexpensive alternative to those high-cost notching tools sold at hardware and DIY stores.
