Can’t turn on any of your appliances? Then it could be a problem in your AC wall outlet. You can check it out with a digital multimeter!
But what is a digital multimeter, and how do you check your outlet with it? A digital multimeter is used to measure voltage (volts), current (amps), resistance (ohms), and other electrical values.
Checking your AC wall outlet is simple: first, make sure to set the multimeter to read AC volts. Doing otherwise will get you inaccurate results. Then, identify the different holes in your outlet: the small hole (power), the large hole (neutral), and the bottom hole (ground). Identifying each hole is important because they affect the results of your readings.
