Great video, and a really good technique! With cutting fluids, however, there are way better choices than WD 40. Try a plumbing supply store (or a really good hardware store!) for dark sulphurized cutting oil. This is what is used in pipe threading machines and for single point thread cutting in a lathe. Other choices would be Tap Magic and similar. If you can’t find anything good locally, go to mcmaster.com and search cutting fluids. You’ll have a world of choices, and cutting tools that last longer.
