If you have a fireplace at home, there will be times that you’ll run out of fire starters. Because of the toxic fumes released from gasoline, it’s not always a good option. A great alternative is to use old motor oil.
For this tutorial, you’ll learn how to recycle old motor oil and turn it into a fire starter that you can use for your fireplace. What you’ll need aside from the motor oil are sawdust, old rags, and a few cardboard tubes (empty tissue rolls). The next page tutorial video will shows you how this is done.
