What Happens When You Push The Start Button While Driving?

Most cars these days are equipped with an automatic start button. Before, only a few cars have this kind of feature. But now, a lot of new models have a button for starting the car. This is a nifty feature that makes starting a car more convenient than ever.

While there is no denying the conveniences of such a feature (you can even start some of these cars before you even get in), there are some questions related to their functions both in the short and long term. For example, what’s going to happen if you accidentally press it while driving?

You can always try it to find out yourself. But of course, you would rather not do that. There are some brave souls out there who have tried doing it, and the results are interesting, to say the least. Are you curious with what’s going to happen if you press it while driving?

You did not tell us that when you shut the car off at 50mph if you lose power steering
    Or brakes.

I have a Lincoln MKX and the start and stop button are right next to the Air condition controls ,lower left hand corner , very dangerous place to put it , twice I have accidently hit the stop button while going 65 miles an hour on a busy freeway. The car shuts down and nothing works , power steering , brakes ECT ECT. I was barely able to get the car off the road . I told the deal we and they did nothing .
