Tutorial: Flush And Bleed Brakes By Yourself Using These Quick And Easy Steps.

If you’ve been a car enthusiast for quite some time, chances are you’ve tried doing a lot of DIYs with cars already. One of the easiest DIYs you can do in your own garage is to flush and bleed your car’s brakes. It’s quick and would only require a few tools.

To give you a glimpse of the process, the first thing you need to do is to locate the brake fluid reservoir and clean it before even taking off any brake components. Suck out the brake fluid, and clean off any excess. Fill the reservoir up with fresh brake fluid, and put on the cap, but don’t screw it on yet.

Once that’s set, get a line wrench, and loosen up the bleeder screw. How this method is done, the next page video will show you the details .
