A propane forge burner can be used for a variety of purposes such as for forging metal, burning weeds, creating your own knives, and many more. Buying a forge burner from hardware stores can be expensive, but what most people don’t know is that it’s actually pretty simple to build your own.
This video tutorial will demonstrate how you can build a propane forge burner using simple — and affordable! — parts you can buy from your local hardware store. For this project, you will need the following: a 20PSI propane regulator, a certain drill bit (the presenter used the #53 for the tip of the forge burner), a ball valve, a few regulators, galvanized coupling, reducers, threaded pipe, a nipple, square head plug, some hose barbs, and vinyl tubing.
To check out the complete set of materials the presenter used, as well as the specifications, go ahead and watch the DIY video.
