This DIY Shop Sand Blaster Won’t Cost You More Than Ten Bucks.

Sandblasting is the method of accelerating an abrasive material though a nozzle using compressed air. It’s called sandblasting because the abrasive material looks and feels like sand. There are also many types of abrasives ranging from corn cob to copper slag and each one has a different purpose depending on the required surface treatment.

There are basically three parts of a sandblasting machine, the air compressor, the abrasive container, and the nozzle. There are ready made sandblasting machines available from hobby shops and home depots. They are easy to use and all you have to do is fill up the container with the appropriate abrasive.

But what if you don’t have the cash and you need a sandblasting machine for the project you are currently working on? This DIY tutorial video can help you. The author will show you that you don’t have to shell out a few hundred bucks for a basic sandblaster.
