How To Stain Concrete Porch Flooring To Look Like Faux Wood Flooring.
Wooden flooring is an aesthetic worth investing. However, if you plan to have wooden flooring outside your house, like in your porch, it can be a hassle to maintain. Applying spar varnish can be costly. And if you have concrete as your flooring on your porch, replacing it with stained wood can be quite an expensive endeavor
The good news is that with a bit of elbow grease, you can transform your concrete flooring into a beautiful faux wooden flooring without making a huge dent in your budget.
First, clean the flooring with a pressure washer. Let it dry for a few days. Then, paint it with a primer. Once the primer is dry, mark the outlines of the faux wooden planks on the floor. Once you are done, apply concrete stain. Before it completely dries, wipe it quickly with a cloth to smudge it and appear like wood layers. Finish it with clear coating.
